Writing a book can feel like a herculean task, but it doesn’t have to be as complicated (or as painful!) as it sounds. When you develop an outline, craft a writing plan, and break it all down into manageable pieces, the writing process can be much easier than you realize.
Course Overview
In this unique online workshop, we will gather by Zoom for LIVE lectures, group brainstorming, Q&A, and accountability.
You will learn how to:
=> Follow step-by-step processes to identify your writing goals and get clear about your target audience(s).
=> Craft a working title and write a compelling book description.
=> Create a detailed outline of your manuscript.
=> Make your book stand out in any crowded genre.
=> Set realistic weekly writing goals and use proven techniques to make the writing process easier.
After the first three weekly meetings, we will meet every other week to check in on progress, address questions, brainstorm solutions, and discuss the topic of the week.
There will be accountability check-ins through the Zoom meetings and our private student-only Facebook group. This is a judgement-free zone! Whether you reach your weekly goals or not, you will receive the support you need.
By the end of this course, you should have a first draft of your manuscript. And if you don’t quite reach the finish line within 90 days, the world won’t stop spinning. You will have made good progress and will be well-equipped to keep working toward the finish line. You will likely make some good friends along the way, too!

Thursdays at 10am PT / 1pm ET – Sessions last about 90 minutes
Begins December 11, 2025
=> We meet LIVE by Zoom so you can join from anywhere.
=> Course recordings and slides are shared the same day so live attendance is always optional.
=> There will be time for Q&A, brainstorming, and sharing at each session.
=> We will share progress, address questions, and receive (nonjudgemental!) accountability support in our private, student-only Facebook group.
